The 2008 awards will be given for work produced, published or exhibited in 2007, and editors, photo editors, producers, reporters, bloggers and authors are urged to submit nominations throughout the year. Submissions must be postmarked by January 31, 2008 and winners will be announced in May 2008. Winners are awarded a $2,000 prize and a plaque.

There is no submission fee or form—a cover letter and 3 copies of the nominated material are all that are required. For photojournalism entries, color or black and white photocopies are acceptable. For blog entries, a URL address and list of top daily entries are acceptable.
